To help us continue improving our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced Product Manager (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Invoice Processing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for gaps in our existing product offerings and has an innovative mindset for filling them. Our new Product Manager (m/f/d) is a subject matter expert in the area of Invoice Processing and should be a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release.
Your job
As our new Product Manager Invoice Processing (m/f/d), you:
  • shape the Product roadmap for our Invoice Processing solutions which is in line with the product strategy and company objectives
  • are fully aware of market trends and customer needs. Speaks to analysts and asses current competitor offerings to seek opportunities for differentiation
  • collect and appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
  • make sure you are always aligned with internal and external stakeholders regarding the product roadmap, the priorities of the roadmap items and managing expectations
  • collaborate closely with the tech team, consultants, marketing and sales teams
  • are focussing on the creation of products that improve customer experience, customer success and grow market share

Your Responsibilities

Your role as Product Manager Invoice Processing (m/f/d) leverages a number of responsibilities that are very important to Onventis.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, collecting (business) requirements and roadmap prioritization
  • Translate product ideas into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
  • Create and describe business cases including value proposition, effort/cost analysis, potential revenue and ROI
  • Define product objectives for effective marketing communications and go-to-market strategy


Your Profile
  • Strong experience, at least 5 years, in a dynamic product management role and Agile software development processes
  • Experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and managing AI-driven products or features is a plus
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  • In depth knowledge of the business domain of Invoice Processing and other finance relevant processes
  • Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing and go-to-market strategies
  • Exceptional speaking and writing skills in English (and German is a plus), combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant orientation
  • Knowledge of and experience with Agile frameworks

Du freust dich darauf, als unser neuer Product Owner Invoice to Pay das Bindeglied zwischen den verschiedenen externen und internen Stakeholdern zu sein. Du identifizierst die Bedürfnisse aller Stakeholder und stellst gemeinsam mit dem Team sicher, dass das Backlog in der richtigen Weise gefüllt, verwaltet und priorisiert wird. Du bist damit vertraut, Teil eines Scrum-Teams zu sein und mit anderen Fachleuten zusammenzuarbeiten, um so viel Wert wie möglich und auf die effizienteste Weise für unser Invoice to Pay-Produkt zu schaffen.

Du teilst die Planung mit den internen Stakeholdern und hältst alle während des Prozesses auf dem Laufenden. Natürlich dokumentierst du alle Schritte für eine aktuelle Verwaltung. Auf diese Weise schaffst du Struktur und Übersicht für alle beteiligten Abteilungen in unserer Organisation.

Du begeisterst dich für die Analyse von Anforderungen, denkst aktiv und prozessorientiert und bist für die Erstellung von Spezifikationen für das Produktentwicklungsteam verantwortlich. Du fühlst dich dafür verantwortlich, das Produkt Invoice to Pay kontinuierlich auf ein höheres Niveau zu bringen, hast einen klaren Fokus, keine Angst vor Deadlines und pflegst die Produkt-Roadmap, um einen stets aktuellen Stand zu gewährleisten.

Als unser neuer Product Owner Invoice to Pay ist das dein Job: 
  • Erstellung der I2P-Roadmap gemeinsam mit dem Produktmanager
  • Verwaltung und Verfeinerung des Team Backlogs
  • Erstellen und Ausarbeiten von User Stories im Detail, damit das Team daran arbeiten kann
  • Anpassung des Product Backlogs auf Basis der gewonnenen Erkenntnisse und Kommunikation der Änderungen an das Product Team
  • Festlegung von Prioritäten in Absprache mit dem Team und dem Produktmanager
  • Aktives Mitdenken bei der Lösung von Problemen, auch wenn es nicht deine Probleme sind
  • Regelmäßige Rücksprache und Zusammenarbeit mit den anderen Product Ownern
  • Ständige Bewertung des Fortschritts und des Gesamtstatus des Produkts im Hinblick auf die Verwirklichung der Produktvision
  • Aktive Teilnahme an allen geplanten Teambesprechungen, die für die Entwicklung der besten Invoice to Pay-Lösung erforderlich sind

Als unser neuer Product Owner Invoice to Pay bist du kommunikationsstark und kannst die Wünsche und Anforderungen unserer Kunden sowie der internen Stakeholder richtig übersetzen. Du stellst sicher, dass den anderen Mitgliedern des Scrum-Teams alles vollständig klar ist. Außerdem ist es wichtig, Eigenverantwortung zu zeigen, indem du dich auf die geplante Funktionalität konzentrieren, die geliefert werden soll.
Diese Position als Product Owner Invoice to Pay  erfordert Autonomie und Kreativität, aber auch Flexibilität, wenn andere Entscheidungen getroffen werden als die, die du im Sinn hattest. Außerdem bist du neugierig und wissbegierig, weil du Zusammenhänge erst verstehen willst, bevor du eine geeignete Lösung dafür findest.

Ihre Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen 
  • Du verfügst über ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Du bist vertraut mit allen Prozessen im Zusammenhang mit dem Ausgabenmanagement und den Lieferantenbeziehungen eines Unternehmens
  • Du hast mindestens einen abgeschlossenen Bachelor-Abschluss
  • Du hast Erfahrung als Product Owner oder in einer ähnlichen Funktion mit Schwerpunkt auf Finanzsoftware oder "Invoice to Pay"-Lösungen.
  • Ausgeprägtes Verständnis von Finanzprozessen, einschließlich Rechnungsbearbeitung und Buchhaltungsprinzipien.
  • Du bist in der Lage, Daten zu analysieren, Erkenntnisse abzuleiten und datengestützte Entscheidungen zu treffen
  • Du verstehst die Integration mit anderen Unternehmenssystemen, wie z. B. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Du verfügst über Kenntnisse in TypeScript und haben praktische Erfahrung in TypeScript- und/oder CoffeeScript-Umgebungen
  • Du bist vertraut mit verschiedenen Schnittstellentechnologien, wie APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) und Webservices
  • Eine Product Owner-Zertifizierung bei Scrum Alliance oder Scrum.org ist von Vorteil
  • Du bringst mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung als Product Owner mit
  • Du hast Erfahrung mit dem Management interner und externer Stakeholder
  • Kenntnisse von und Erfahrung mit agilen Frameworks
