To do this efficiently and secure at all times, we‘re in search of an experienced Manager (m/f/d) for an Integrated Management System covering our Information Security, Data Protection and Quality Management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate successful experience in introducing Information Security or Quality Management into a software company, ideally in an international group context. Our new Information Security Manager (m/f/d) is a subject matter expert in the area of management systems and should be highly skilled in dealing with internal and external audits, customer questionnaires and turning findings into strengths.
Your job

As our new Information Security Manager (m/f/d), you:

  • Shape the organizations' effectiveness and compliance by managing and developing our existing Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001 and extending it into an Integrated Management System (IMS) that covers all relevant legal, regulatory, and institutional requirements

  • Propose objectives to improve the existing ISMS and extend the scope into an IMS covering additional customer requirements and geographical needs

  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures and other system requirements in consultation with the various departments, recommend improvement to existing procedures, and standardize records and forms used in preparation for and as a requirement for system certification

  • Assist internal and external audits and ensure required measures are documented and tracked and that such corrective or preventive measures are effective

  • Drive awareness to all individuals of the organization on the documented information of the IMS through training and learning modules

  • Support our purchasing department in driving compliance with our suppliers

  • Prepare information for frequently asked questions from our customers on legal and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent information is given

  • Work closely with our Information Security Manager, Data Protection Officer, and the Management Board in case of risks and incidents and identify improvement opportunities arising from them

Your Profile
  • Strong experience, at least 3 years, in owning Information Security or Quality Management in a technology company environment, ideally SaaS

  • Passion for process excellence and attention to the value of documented information and its accessibility

  • Very experienced in managing (Technology) projects

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (and German is a plus) combined with strong presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Educational or professional legal background is a plus
