  • Customizing alerts to minimize noise and align with specific incident management protocols.

• Infrastructure Operation Improvement

  • Regularly assessing and upgrading on-prem infrastructure for reliability and performance.

  • Applying modernization strategies to legacy systems while ensuring continuous operation.

• Operational Help Desk Efficiency

  • Streamlining ticket processing workflows for quicker resolution.

  • Implementing prioritization and escalation protocols to manage tickets effectively.

• Network Architecture Enhancement

  • Evaluating current network setups and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Designing and deploying scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions.

• Scalability and Reliability Planning

  • Performing capacity planning and load testing to validate scalability and reliability measures.

  • Developing automated solutions to scale resources up or down based on demand.

• Incident Management Optimization

  • Establishing clear incident response protocols and communication plans.

  • Conducting post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and prevent recurrence.

• Routine Task Automation

  • Identifying repetitive manual tasks that can be automated.

  • Developing and deploying scripts or using automation tools to streamline operations.

• FTP System Modernization

  • Assessing current FTP implementations for security and performance issues.

  • Researching and deploying modern, secure file transfer alternatives that meet organizational needs.

You will need to have profound professional experience with:

• Deep knowledge of networking and firewalls (Sophos, Fortigate, etc.)

• Strong Windows & Linux administration expertise

• Virtualization technologies VMware/VSphere

• Monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, PRTG, etc)

Experience in the following areas will be of advantage:

• Database administration (MSSQL, MongoDB).

• CI/CD tools (e.g., Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps)

• Orchestration and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).

• SOLR, and ElasticSearch administration

• Security management/IDPS/SIEM/WAF
