We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who shares our commitment to delivering not just software, but trust to our customers. In this role, you'll be a critical part of our mission to ensure that every release meets the highest standards, as for our customers, quality isn’t optional; it’s essential. 

Working closely with product managers, developers, and customer support, you'll help identify pain points before they reach our +1,2 million users, and continuously refine the user experience. Your work will directly impact the reliability, stability, and overall satisfaction our customers experience every day. 

Your Mission

Your role as Quality Assurance Engineer leverages a number of responsibilities that are very important to Onventis. 

• Collaborating with the team during daily stand-up meetings to stay aligned. 
• Engaging in planning meetings to discuss features and identify opportunities for automation, always keeping the result in mind. 
• Actively contributing improvement suggestions during retrospective meetings that drive positive change. 
• Embracing GIT FLOW methodology while working with feature branches. 
• Engaging in insightful discussions with the Product Manager and QA colleagues to address product-related queries. 
• Taking part in the QA guild to learn, explore new horizons, and align with the company's goals.  

Your job

As our new Quality Assurance Engineer, you:

• Conduct functional and acceptance testing for new features, bugs, and various issue types. 
• Perform exploratory testing in areas lacking technical documentation and contribute to the creation of missing documentation.  
• Execute regression tests and analyze release test results. 
• Analyze test outcomes, troubleshoot issues, and meticulously document detailed bug reports in JIRA. 
• Collaborate closely with the customer support department to address escalated issues effectively. 
• Develop and upkeep comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test executions using X Ray for JIRA.

Your Profile

• Your English is excellent both written and verbal
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable QA experience. 
• Proficiency in testing web applications. 
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies. 
• Basic comprehension of HTTP, JSON, REST, and SQL. 
• Hands-on experience with Postman and Chrome developer tools.
